Communication majors who attend South Carolina State have to take the practicum/senior project course to graduate from the program. I recently took the course the fall semester that I passed. Reflection of The Practicum
Communication majors who attend South Carolina State have to take the practicum/senior project course to graduate from the program. I recently took the course the fall semester that I passed. I earned everything I worked for. There were plenty of hands-on experiences I can take with me into my career. Interviewing was my most difficult challenge because I can become nervous because of everyone's eye are on me. Throughout the process I was able to become comfortable in front of the camera. A New Investment
Few days after christmas I was finally able to buy myself a camera. The Nikon D5500 was my choice. It has great quality which was a big factor for me buying the camera. I have not thought about getting into photography. I would like to carry my camera to family events and also take pictures for fun. Additionally, I want to add more equipment. I eventually want to buy a tripod, light, another battery, and more lenses. This is a great accomplishment for myself. I felt like a kid opening the gift putting it together and changing the settings to my likings. Being able to take pictures with my phone through the camera was an amazing feeing. This is the beginning of something new. Be on the lookout on my Facebook for amazing videos/pictures.

BC (203) Final Post!
What can I say? Electronic Media Production 2 has been a class about new social media sites and learning how to us blogspot. I have learned how to use a variety of new websites. I have created many new ways to connect with others, including my amazing blog that I am putting together. The blog allows people to get a understanding who I am, what I can do, and what my future plans are.
Twitter- I am very active when it comes to Twitter. I mainly retweet memes about athletes. I love sports, so of course you will see many retweets of Sports Center. I have been involved with Twitter since high school. It allows me to keep up with people from high school. I have approximately 245 followers on twitter.
LinkedIn- LinkedIn strengthens and extends your existing network of trusted contacts. It is a networking tool that helps individuals discover connections within their field. For example, LinkedIn has helped me gain connections with the people i encountered at my last internship. Any of those individuals can help find a job after college. LinkedIn also allows people to rate your work. How talented can you be? Take your professional career to the next level by connecting to others within your field.
Prezi- There are so many different presentation resources out there. None are like Prezi though, a presentation resource, on a mission to reinvent how people share knowledge, tell stories, and inspire their audience. Prezi allows users to zoom-in to the pictures. Users can gain connection to the individual telling the story. Prezi is unique resource for many to use. With the new technology Prezi is a great way to engage your audience. From the backgrounds, connecting to your amazing story. It is very unique. The only reason why I would say I did not like prezi because I was so use to using the original presentation resource. I have made several presentations using prezi check me out.
Green Screen- Out of all the places I wanted to be, I wanted to be in Africa, next to a lion. Why? That is a great question. A question that ask myself several times. Animals have always captured my attention. I watched several documentaries on lions. Learning about how they live. I truly plan to take a tour in the wild. By the way, Africa is a beautiful place anyways. Why not? I Took a picture of myself acting scared to pet the walking lion. I then sent those pictures to my email to complete the next task. Adobe Premiere allowed me to change the green screen with the lion in the background. "Don't eat me" was my caption that I first thought of. Lions are very smart animals do not be fooled by them.
Kizoa - An easy way to create a collage of photos for any assignment or you just want to create movie with photos of your family, Kizoa is the way to go. It is simple to use compared to today's other software. Never thought I would ever use Kizoa until my professor assigned the last assignment. It was pretty dope to use the different effects, animations, and transitions phase. I did not like the music selection. I could never find a way to import my own music.

Feature story- Usually when I am assigned a feature story I try to write it on someone I know. This time I wrote it one a female named Kiara Brown- Simmons. I enjoy writing stories on individuals that have something go from them.
Closing- Thank you Mr. Harwood! I enjoyed Electronic Media Production 2 because it taught me how to use the internet more efficiently. Especially this blog. I plan to continue to use this blog to post on the amazing things that occur in my life. If I didn't take anything from you class that means I did not apply myself. Trust me I did apply myself. I learned how to use different websites. I can say LinkedIn is something that will help in the long run. Especially when looking for a job after school or if I want to move to any other state to continue my career somewhere else in the Untied States. I can use this blog to show evidence that I did learn how to use the green screen effect for Adobe Premiere. Knowing that is amazing software that many companies use. I do not think you should change anything about the course. If anyone is as interested writing on blogs, filling in others about what is going, they should enjoy it.
